Ask for and give information

Eugeni: Hello, there. Can I help you?
Pau: Yes, I'm staying in Somerset with a friend next week and we were wondering if there's Eugeni: anything to see around there. Have you got any information?
Pau: Yes, there are day trips to the Cheddar caves if you're interested. I'll get you a leaflet.
Eugeni: That sounds good. What time do the trips leave?
Pau: Oh, they're fairly regular - they go every day except Monday at nine and eleven.
Eugeni: OK. And how much is the trip? We've got student cards.
Pau: Let's see. Well, in that case it's 8 pounds per person. The full price is 12 pounds.
Eugeni: That's fine. We'll go on Thursday, then. Do we need to book it?
Pau: I'll book it for you if you like. Can I take your names?

Change something in a shop

Eugeni: Hello. Are you OK there?
Pau: Yes, hi. I was given these jeans as a present but they're too small. Is it OK if I change them?
Eugeni: That should be OK. Have you got the receipt?
Pau: Yes, here you are.
Eugeni: OK. Well actually, we've sold out of those jeans, I'm afraid. You can choose something else if you like.
Pau: Oh, right. Can I try these things on?
Eugeni: Yes, sure. The changing rooms are over there.
Pau: What do you think of this coat? it isn't too long, is it?
Eugeni: No, I don't think so. it's really funky.
Pau: OK. I'll take it then. Thanks.

Disscuss a questionnare

Eugeni: Hey, Pau. We're doing a questionnaire about identity. Do you want to have a look?
Pau: Yeah, go on then. Ask me something.
Eugeni: OK, I will ask you the interesting ones. Do you express yourself more through your hairstyle or your clothes?
Pau: Er, through my clothes.
Eugeni: Yes, me too. Right, do you usually know what music someone likes from the clothes they wear?
Pau: Oh, that's a difficult one. Not always, no.
Eugeni: No, me neither. OK. How about this one - do you prefer to hang out with a group of friends, or alone?
Pau: I prefer a group.
Eugeni: Oh, I don't. I prefer to relax on my own.
Pau: We're a bit different then.
Tània: It looks like it, yes.
